“After graduating from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr Flinn completed a 2 ½ yr internship and surgical residency program at Henry Bergh Memorial Hospital, ASPCA, New York City. He took over ownership of Jericho Animal Hospital in September, 1975, and has practiced at this location since that time. He has a special interest in surgery and canine reproduction.”

Dr. Parendo was born and raised in Mineola, NY. In his high school years he worked in the kennel and served as a veterinary assistant at Jericho Animal Hospital. He attended the University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate studies where he double majored in Pre-Med and Economics. After receiving his degree he began his veterinary schooling at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. He was enrolled there for one and a half years until he transferred to Ross University upon meeting his wife. After completing a clinical year at Purdue University Dr. Parendo returned to Long Island and began practicing at Jericho Animal Hospital. His professional interests are diagnostic imaging, general surgery including orthopedics, and reproductive medicine. When not at the office he can be found fishing, playing lacrosse or golfing, but he most enjoys spending time with his wife and kids in their home town of Babylon, NY.
